We bought our 2003 Honda Odyssey two months ago. We heard a clunking noise under the hood not long after we bought it. Coppell Tire & Auto replaced a "front motor mount"... when the clunking noise returned, Coppell Tire & Auto looked and found that someone had put in bolts that were too long for the mount, and it had ruined the front & one side mount. Coppell Tire & Auto then replaced both mounts and the bolts for no charge (they had already charged me for the first mount). I think I'll be coming back to this place.

I have used this establishment for several years now for a variety of services ranging from oil changes to more serious repair work. Like some others who have left feedback, my first visit was for something that a major Dallas dealership had told me was wrong and quoted me $ 600 for...that Shanon fixed for $ 10. All it needed was a fuse ! We currently have 3 vehicles and all of them have had some work performed on them by this company. Shanon, Brad, Larry and all their folks are truly professional and do fine work at reasonable rates. I would not consider having my auto work done by another place in the metroplex.

Unbeatable Service & Trustworthy!! I received a price quote within a few minutes, and Shannon even emailed it to me. When I took my car in for service I was told that the issue I thought I was originally having (as I was told by the dealership) was not truly the problem with my car. The team diagnosed the real problem and fixed it. They are truly honest and they won't try to recommend you unnecessary car repairs. After getting a quote from the dealership of over $1,000 for a brake job, I decided to find a local shop. I went to Coppell Tire & Auto. Shannon and the boys still do something you very rarely see anymore in an auto shop. They are honest, very customer oriented and actually know what they are doing. I have been taking all of my cars to them for many years. Every time they fix the problem correctly the first time. What is also very rare, is since I am a regular customer if my problem is simple and does not requuire parts they do not charge me. When is the last time you went to an auto shop and did not get charged. Now that is taking care of the customer.

My family has been using Coppell Tire and Auto for all of our vehicles for over 15 years. I took my first car there and have taken every car since! These guys are the ONLY mechanics I trust to treat me honestly and fairly when it comes to auto repair. Case in point. last month my husband took my car in to NTB to have the tires rotated. 10 minutes after dropping it off they called to tell us that the car needed $1200 of work done on it. We had no idea there was a thing wrong with the car. My husband told the guys at NTB not to touch a thing and they gave him some "song and dance" about how they didn't even think it was safe for my husband to drive it out of the parking lot. Well he did drive it out of the parking lot and straight over to Shannon at Coppell Tire and Auto. Shannon's guys took a look at the car that day and said the only thing that needed to be replaced was the front brakes and that would cost $193. We were floored that NTB in Grapevine would try to take advantage of us in such an enormous way! It was really sickening. We recommend Coppell Tire and Auto to everyone we know!

I recently had the "pleasure" of needing an engine replaced on a 1997 Lexus ES 300. Yes I said "pleasure", and that was exactly the experience I had with Coppell Tire and Auto. Shannon, and "Mike The Mechanic" are the only two individuals that I have ever actually felt confident that I could truely trust not to take me to the bank. In the end I actually did have to go to the bank to pay for the engine, but at least they offered to drive me! Just Kidding ! I highly recommend Coppell Tire, and Auto, and will never go to the thieves at Goodyear, or anyone ever again. Goodyear charged me $22.00 to plug a nail hole in my tire. Coppell tire would have done it just to get the future business. I wish I would have known about these great guys many dollars, and years ago. You need to try them for yourself. I took my car into Shannon after being told by a dealer that I would need new bushings. Coppell Tire and Auto took a look and said it was normal wear and not to worry at this time. I still had miles to go before they had to be replaced. Now that car is sitting "dead" and won't start. Who do think I am going to call when they open at 7:30? Shannon!

I took my 1999 Saturn to another mechanic and was informed that I would need to replace the rear brake cylinder, drums, rotors, pads, the whole works cuz the master cylinder was leaking. They also told me that I would need to replace the leaking water pump and serpentine belt. After receiving 3 different estimates from him for the same repair $800 - 1000+(we just won't bleed the brakes, we wont charge you for this or that) within a 10 minute timeframe, I didn't feel they were giving me an honest estimate. While my car was AT the other place, a friend told me about Coppell Tire and Auto so I took my car there. The tech looked at it and said my car would need FRONT brake pads and rotors resurfaced and new tires for the road trip. I was shocked that there could be such a difference in what repairs should be done and actually asked Shannon to take another look at the repairs the previous mechanic said I needed. Shannon called me back within 1/2 hour and said he and the tech took another look at the rear brakes and water pump and belt and assured me that those items didn't need to be replaced. I got new brake pads, resurfaced rotors and brand new tires for less than $500. My steering wheel no longer shakes when braking, I don't hear the grinding when braking and I feel much safer driving the car. THANK YOU SHANNON AND CREW!!

Like most people i always found it hard to trust lawyers and mechanics. That is until I ran across Shannon. My first experience was when my car ran out of gas. Since it was a used car I wasn't sure why it didn't run after I put in gas. I was shocked when Shannon billed for for a 1/2 labor only to get it running again. Of the 3 times that car went back to Shannon I spent just as much on towing then getting it to run again. In addition when I asked about other service that didn't make sense--he told me. I can't recommend them enough.

i work in a local lube center in the area and there are some repairs that we are unable to perform and me even as a mechanic cant figure out. I have a 96 jeep and had alot of problems in the past with the steering and wheels jumping at 50 mph. The owner of my shop told me i should check with Shannon the owner of Coppell tire and auto and see if he can look at it. When i took my vehicle to him one of his techs looked at it and told just a few things that could have been causing it after looking at my vehicle. so i bought the steering stabilizer that he had mentioned and installed it and the problem was fixed. Then a while later i had a problem with a transmission line on my jeep and had broke a piece of it. Being my only vehicle i called Shannon and had asked him if he could help me out cause i need the vehicle and don't have a lot of money, he was willing to fix my vehicle in a manner that i could afford it. Shannon thank you for all your help. This is a shop that i would recommend to anyone, it is a very trust worthy business .

These guys are excellent. They diagnose the issue first and then repair exactly whatever is to be repaired. Their service is excellent. They give you the best possible advice. After running to every shop, I finally found them and then settled with them as I need not look any further for my auto repair needs. They are very honest too. Once, my cigarette lighter/car charger in the car was not working. I went to a big shop who charged me for diagnosing the issue and Then told me that it was too complex and was a major electrical problem. Then I took my car to Shannon. He simply replaced the fuse and everything started working. I really appreciate their honesty. Once I was stuck on a highway in San Antonio with my car battery dead. I called them in Coppell and they told me the exact cause of the issue and how much it may cost in San Antonio to repair the part as well. When I got it repaired (alternator had gone bad as per them and it actually had) as per their advise, it started working fine. Their service beats all expectations. Ever since, I have always been going to the Coppell Tire and Auto for my auto repair/maintenance needs.
